The first Boys' Brigade Company was formed in 1883
when William Smith, a Sunday School Teacher in his Church in
Glasgow, saw the need to
provide
week-night
activities to
supplement its work. Today The BB is
a World-Wide Inter-Denominational Christian uniformed
organisation, for boys and
young men from 5 to 18 years of age with more than a quarter of a
million members in over 80 Countries. No, not just a story
of all our yesterdays.
The 4th
Hillingdon Boys' Brigade Company has maintained its vital outreach work
into
the local community since 1946 and still today forms an integral part
of the youth work of our
Church.
